ping officity-host.com

If you have a response, it means the machine is still running. Continue to the next step.

If you don't have a response, try to `ping` apple.com.

If you don't receive a response from apple.com it's probably your internet connection which is in trouble.

If you receive a response from apple.com, it's not your internet connection and your server may be down or it may be that the network of your server provider is temporarily broken (router or firewall problems).

If you know another machine on the same network, try to ping it.

If it doesn't respond it's the probably the network of your server provider (the probability of two machines falling down at the same moment is minimal).

If this other machine does respond, your server is probably crashed. Ask your server provider to reboot it.
